Basanta Shrestha

Basanta Shrestha has a master's degree in computer science from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, and a bachelors degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Madras University, India. He has extensive experience in IT and has published numerous reports and articles on various aspects of ICTs and their applications. He currently heads the Mountain Environment and Natural Information Systems Programme at the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development.
