Narantsetseg Baljin

Narantsetseg Baljin is President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoCon Co. Ltd, an IT consulting company in Mongolia. She was, prior to this, Marketing Director at Datacom, the first ISP in Mongolia. Her main interest is in promoting the application of ICTs in education and development programmes. Nara is experienced in public relations, marketing, network planning and technical design. Her recent research on Mongolia includes: ISP business development, the knowledge-based economy and the knowledge-based industry. She also participated in preparing the Mid-Term Strategy and Action Plan for Development of ICT in Mongolia, which was approved by the government in 2002. Nara is the project leader of several ICT development projects implemented by UNDP, Soros Foundation, IDRC and the World Bank.
