Robert L. Guild

Dr Robert Guild is an expert on infrastructure investment for social and economic development, a theme he has pursued as a researcher and practitioner in over 20 developing countries. Dr Guild leads the economic infrastructure programme at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, an intergovernmental organisation based in Suva Fiji that covers the Pacific region. He is Chair of the Council of Regional Organisations of the Pacific ICT Working Group, which is responsible for the regional initiative to develop ICTs in the Pacific.
